Looking for the game Tales Told Softly? Look no further~!!
Until the site is live again, you can still meet me at myspace.
Relax in the cool shade of a weeping willow, during endless summer, in the good old days...
Keystone City is my salute to the world I adore...a world that has mostly faded away, but here it lives on colouring the edges of our lives. This is a website for people who like to read, who want solid information and entertainment. This site is also a presentation of my personal homepage as well as tributes to the celebrities I admire. On the internet you can search for famous people and get a thousand pages all with the same basic facts, what I wanted to offer was original content, unique reflections, and offbeat tidbits you don't generally find.
As the Roman statesman Cicero said "The beginnings of all things are small". So be it here~!
If you like this website, I am pleased, as much effort was put into it. I took a chance to follow a goofy dream, as the great philosopher and author Homer wrote centuries ago:
"And what he greatly thought, he nobly dared".
If you are displeased by my results, consider what the other great philosopher Homer Simpson said:
"Trying is the first step to failure".
:0)
Finally, understand that this website is a shadow, an exercise in selective exhibitionism. My life is an open book, but much of the information has been redacted. You can find my heart here, but not my soul. Never complete, always slightly misleading, and somewhat purposely vague. Surely I am more exposed here than a person without a website, but than again, you would be pursuing a flawed project to research me here. These are parts of the whole, and like all parts, not truly indicative of what the assembled machine can do. Nonetheless, I try to represent myself honestly and to hopefully encourage others to explore my passions.
Notes for parents and teachers: I am concerned with safe content on the web. Note that my site is generally, but loosely, intended for adults. As such, I write for and aim my site at a mature audience from an intellectual viewpoint (IE, I use big words and deal with weighty topics). I also use the occasional off-colour word and employ scatological humour. There is NO material on this site which I consider to be intentionally hateful or blatantly vulgar. The vast majority of my content is in fact kid-friendly. But not all. If I had children, I would gladly let them read this site, but use your own judgment.
Notes for disabled users: I am a strong supporter of equal access for all. While I do not pretend to be an expert in this field I do make every effort to ensure that my website has decent usability for all visitors. Though I have tried to make clever use of color and even some javascript, I never use either as anything but decoration and not as essential navigation elements. If you have special needs and experience difficulty using this website, please contact me and let me know how I can make this site better for you~!
Finally, I try and follow accepted web standards, and this site is mostly (cough cough) valid XHTML.
